Our Track Record

Cookie Concepts was established in Melbourne in 1994 as a small boutique cookie and biscuit manufacturer. Since taking over in February 1997 Lindie and Harold Donsky have consistently grown the business to become a recognized leader in its field providing premium quality product to a broad range of discerning customers through a network of dedicated distributors. Today Cookie Concepts stands proud as an Australian owned company with our cookies and biscuits being enjoyed throughout most of Australia.

The Ingredients

At Cookie Concepts we firmly believe that the quality of the end product will be directly influenced by what we put into it. Accordingly we only use fresh and natural ingredients of the highest quality. We do not add any artificial preservatives to our products.

The Recipes

At Cookie Concepts all our delicious products are lovingly crafted to tried and tested recipes. Many of these are traditional family recipes and where they have consistently worked to produce the quality our customers expect and demand we have left them unchanged. However, some of the products have needed that little bit of extra crunch, or a more pronounced flavour, a better shelf life, or extra decoration and we have tweaked them accordingly to continuously improve and raise the bar with our products.

The Team

Our people at Cookie Concepts are a truly experienced and committed team operating in a family business environment. 75% of the full time staff has been with Cookie Concepts for more than seven years with the majority also having certificate qualifications in food processing. The dedication, commitment and attention to detail of our team ensures we remain a leader in the baking of quality cookies and biscuits.

Our Baking Practices

Baking our premium quality products is as much an art as it is a science. Our team knows this well and extra care and attention is devoted to every batch from weighing out ingredients to mixing, forming, decorating, baking and packing. We also know that generally speaking quality is negatively impacted by batch size. For this reason we prepare our products in small batches so we can ensure we only produce the finest quality cookies and biscuits to meet our exacting standards.

Food Safety

Cookie Concepts has been HACCP accredited since 2002 to meet the most stringent of food safety standards.  Since 2010 when we first participated in the City of Monash "Golden Plate Award" program we have consistently been awarded the highest rating for our premises - 5 Stars.
